Sukuta

Sukuta is a small town in the West Coast, in the district of Foni Jarrol.
Founded hundreds of years ago, today counts nearly 40,000 inhabitants.
Sukuta is not a rich city, but very active.

It is provided with basic services, such as a primary school and a secondary school.
A market and a healt care center are also available to the population.

        

Sports activities like football are frequent in Sukuta.

One of the best team of Gambia, The Mamaland, winner of de Gambian League of 2017, is a sukutarian team.

Nema is a suburb of Sukuta, in the pre-rural area.
It’s an aera with high density population.

This is what prompted young Nema to take the initiative to create this meaningful Association that will help youth, children, orphans and the needy.
